*Adults can also register individually and participate alongside your child, but your registration fee does not go to the school of your choice.
Scholarships Available! If your child would like to participate in the Tri 4 Schools Youth Mud Run and will require financial assistance to enter, please contact our Race Director at firstname.lastname@example.org. For those who register at least two weeks out from the race, we can work with sponsors to find running shoes for your child if needed.
Obstacles will be safe for children of all ages (no barbed wire, fire, or electric shocks here!). We will also rotate in new obstacles along with some of your favorites for each race. Parents, talk with your children about which obstacles they feel comfortable going through – they can always go around an obstacle and take the “clean track” if they don’t want to get wet/muddy.
As a reference, the course maps and obstacles from our 2014 Fall Mud Run are posted below. We will post our new course as we get closer to race day. Please talk with your child(ren) about which obstacles are safe for them to go through. They can always go around any obstacle they do not feel comfortable with.
The distances and suggested ages are as follows, but remember, you can sign up for any distance you would like! The key is to challenge yourself and train appropriately.

The race will be held at Festival Park in Verona, located behind City Hall – 111 Lincoln St., Verona, WI 53593

From the Beltline, take the Verona Rd. exit and take 18-151 south. Take exit 81 for Verona, heading west on Verona Avenue until you see Culver’s on your right. Turn left onto Lincoln Street, and the park is just past the fire station on your left.
You can park in the small lot at City Hall, at Eagles Nest ice rink. There will be street parking available, but please be aware of No Parking signs in certain locations as marked by Verona Police.
Our event schedule will be posted once we get closer to race day.
UPDATE 3/9: Our pre-race packet pick-up and registration will be held at the Mattel Toy Store from 3-7pm.

Directions: Take University Avenue/Highway 14 west (out of Middleton) and turn right at the stoplight on Pleasant View Rd. Take a right, and the road will change from University Green to Parview Rd. Turn right on Fairway Place.
Complimentary food for our youth athletes is available due to our generous sponsors. This consists of fruit, water, and usually bagels or granola bars.
If you wish to purchase a meal ticket, you can do so online for $3 as an additional purchase. You will receive a wristband on race day that will allow you to claim your food after you cross the finish line!
If you need to change a wave, you will need to do so online (available until online registration closes), at either early packet pick-up on Friday evening, or on race morning at our Wave Changes table.
All youth participants will receive finisher medals. This race will not be timed, so there will not be any awards for top finishers. The goal of this race is to encourage fun and fitness, so if your child would like to be timed, please have them wear a stopwatch.
Finally, we have one traveling trophy that will be awarded to the school with the most participants. This will be a traveling trophy presented at your school after the race, and you can display it proudly until the next Tri 4 Schools event!
