Race Information

Obstacles will be safe for children of all ages (no barbed wire, fire, or electric shocks here!). We will also rotate in new obstacles along with some of your favorites for each race.  Parents, talk with your children about which obstacles they feel comfortable going through – they can always go around an obstacle and take the “clean track” if they don’t want to get wet/muddy.

Our course map will be posted once all obstacles are finalized.  There will be some you’ll recognize from last year and some new ones to keep you guessing!

The distances and suggested ages are as follows, but remember, you can sign up for any distance you would like!  The key is to challenge yourself and train appropriately.

Distance Recommended Ages
Appx. 1/3 mile  7 and under
Appx. 1.5 mile 8-12
5k (3.1 miles)  13-17

Directions

The race will be held at Festival Park in Verona, located behind City Hall – 111 Lincoln St., Verona, WI 53593

Driving directions via Google Maps can be found here.

From the Beltline, take the Verona Rd. exit and take 18-151 south.  Take exit 81 for Verona, heading west on Verona Avenue until you see Culver’s on your right.  Turn left onto Lincoln Street, and the park is just past the fire station on your left.

You can park in the small lot at City Hall, at Eagles Nest ice rink.  There will be street parking available, but please be aware of No Parking signs in certain locations as marked by Verona Police.

Friday, May 16th: We will have a packet pick-up at Quaker Steak and Lube in Middleton from 3-7pm.

We have a slightly new wave system this year.  All kids distances will be complete by 11:30am to help those needing to get to afternoon engagements.
